Yes. Cialfo is Pearson PTE’s official discount partner in India, and its current code is PTE10CIALFO. It gives 10% off PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI, and PTE Core, so ₹17,010 instead of ₹18,900.
Searching “PTE discount” also brings up resellers selling vouchers at prices that look cheaper. The two work differently, and it’s worth knowing which one you’re using before you pay.
How an official code works
An official discount code is entered on Pearson’s checkout page when you book. You pay Pearson directly, the booking is made in your own account, and the reduced price shows on screen before you confirm. Nothing is bought in advance from a third party.
How a third-party voucher works
A voucher is usually bought from a reseller first, then redeemed later. That adds steps where things can go wrong: voucher validity, expiry dates, and whether the booking is tied to your account.
What to check before you pay
- Where do you pay? With an official code, payment happens on pearsonpte.com.
- Can you see the price before confirming? The discounted total should appear at checkout.
- Is the offer tied to an official partnership? Look for a named partner, not an anonymous listing.
- Is there a deadline or a catch? Be careful with anything that needs payment outside the official checkout.
Why this matters for counsellors
If you’re advising students, point them to one code and one place to use it. Students who find mismatched or outdated codes online waste time, and some pay a reseller when they didn’t need to. The current code is PTE10CIALFO, and the old one, PTECIALFO10, no longer works.
