{"id":642,"date":"2022-05-31T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog-staging.cialfo.co\/?p=642"},"modified":"2025-02-04T08:03:30","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T08:03:30","slug":"what-students-want","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cialfo.co\/blog\/what-students-want","title":{"rendered":"What students want from university recruitment teams &#8211; Cialfo research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>How many university marketers and recruiters today are confident that they know just how to engage best with Gen Z?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our world of information overload, high school students (AKA digital natives) are bombarded with a daily barrage of texts, instant messages, videos, Snaps, and tweets from friends, family, influencers, and every type of advertiser under the sun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what does this mean for university recruiting professionals trying to break through all this noise and connect with potential students? What&nbsp;<strong><em>are&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>international students&nbsp;<strong><em>really<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;looking for in their college application experience?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do high school students want from universities?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out, we went directly to the source &#8211; members of the&nbsp;<strong>Cialfo Student Advisory Board<\/strong>. The board is composed of students who have either started or will soon be starting on their individual college application journeys. We launched the Student Advisory Board in 2021 as a way to build a student community that we could learn from in real-time.
