That courage? That\u2019s what actually matters. The first few weeks can feel like a blur of culture shock, homesickness, and navigating public transport like a lost puppy. But most people say it gets better\u2014and it really does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Make_Your_First_Move\"><\/span>Make Your First Move<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t wait around hoping people will come to you. You gotta make that first move. Knock on your dorm neighbor\u2019s door. Say hi in orientation. You\u2019ll be surprised how many other students are just as nervous, waiting for someone\u2014<em>anyone<\/em>&nbsp;\u2014to say something first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Youre_Stronger_Than_You_Think\"><\/span>You\u2019re Stronger Than You Think<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Living alone, navigating a new place, budgeting, cooking\u2014it\u2019s intense. But every awkward supermarket run and Google Maps meltdown makes you a little stronger.&nbsp;<em>&#8220;The first month felt like survival mode, but I\u2019ve never grown more in my life.&#8221;<\/em>&nbsp;That\u2019s the glow-up nobody talks about. The more uncomfortable you feel now, the more proud you\u2019ll be later.
